Garda National Immigration Bureau
Within a month of arriving in Ireland you need to register with The Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) who will issue you with an ID card. GNIB is located at the former Irish Press Newspaper Offices on Burgh Quay in central Dublin.
Current opening hours of the GNIB are:
- Monday to Thursday 8am - 10pm
- Friday 8am - 4pm
- Saturday 10am - 2pm
